Life Insurance for Pilots, Stewards, Stewardesses and those who fly.
One of the most popular dreams of children’s minds is to become a pilot when they grow up. Becoming a part of an aircraft and flight profession is one of the most demanding jobs and professions going. You could be the pilot, cabin crew or even working on the airport grounds. Regardless of your specific job within an airport it can be very hard and a gruelling one. In some cases people class this occupation as being very high risk in comparison to other occupations and professions out there. Insurance for pilots and cabin crew is almost certainly ideal. Some people may think that this is already covered, however there are some cases where this is not the case. As the crew of the plane and pilots fly, there lives are at risk every time they go up into the air, life insurance will help protect their loved ones should something happen to them from a financial point of view.
Both pilots, stewards and stewardesses are put under the same amount of risk every time they go up into the air. As this is such an unpredictable time unfortunately anything could possibly happen every time they go up in the plane. If they have a family and commitments, life insurance should be a consideration for these types of people with these criteria of their profession.
Should something happen to you whilst you were on a routine flight to where ever and you had an insurance policy in force for life cover, you will be able to take every flight with the confidence that if the unforeseeable did happen to you and you were to die that your loved one’s would be looked after financially.
Life insurance can be very beneficial should you have commitments, a family to consider or even debts to pay. This is more than likely a large number of people in this day and age. The way life insurance works is should the policy holder die the benefits of the policy will be paid out by the insurance policy, thus enabling the remaining loved ones; debts etc to be looked after or paid off.
When considering this type of insurance the providers will need to take into consideration the occupation that you have, your age, height and weight, the routes that you fly, the frequency that you fly, typically what type of aircraft you fly, for how long i.e. hours or duration, the type of licence or certificate that you hold, if you have ever been involved in a flying incident, the method the plane is propelled by. This may be required as additional information in the form of a questionnaire. Typically most companies require this in writing and to be signed and confirmed by the policy holder and this would have to be done to ensure that the underwriting process can be done and a fair decision and premium on the application can be given.
